I was asked to do the interior and exterior photography of a couple of new developments in Essex for a construction firm called BuildTech Professional Ltd. They wanted to show the high level of craftmanship and attention to detail that they apply to every build that they do and so it was important to show this in the photographs. Two beautiful development with an immaculate finish.
Interior photography of a new development of two lovely apartments in Loughton. One on the ground floor with bi-folding doors which lead to a private garden and the first floor apartment with high ceilings and skylights bringing in loads of light.
The most recent shoot for Plus Rooms I did was of a fabulous family kitchen which had been designed with different zones working within the space. There was the kitchen area for food preparation with an island and stools, a music area, a swinging chair attached to the ceiling and sofa made up the chill out area with a large TV and finally there was a dining space with table and chairs. A great space for a growing family!
Architectural Photography in London – Fidelity International asked me to photograph their building in Canon Street London last week to record their Purple Light Up Day. The brief was to show the light up from the inside of the building out, showing the mechanics of the actual lights and the view outside, particularly St Paul’s cathedral opposite. They also needed shots from outside showing the building at various times and different ambient lighting. Weather wise of course it was chucking it down all day! This hampered my ability to nip in and out of the building as I would have liked, but despite the rain I got some nice shots particularly later on when the rain created great reflections on the pavement. Thanks to the wonderful security man who came out with me and held my umbrella whilst I focused the tilt shift lens!
It was a very wet, snowy day and a visit to Spains Hall Estate last week to photograph their venison for their website. The pictures they had really needed updating and so as I had photographed their holiday lets they asked if I could do some food photography. A couple of hours in a very cold meat storage facility and some herby props resulted in some fairly decent photos of some raw cuts of venison!
