I recently visited Alec’s Restaurant, in Navestock, Brentwood, Essex to photograph some new dishes on their menu and their private dining area. Alec’s is a fabulous restaurant serving modern british food and fish to a really high standard. If you are looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion this is the place to visit in Essex.
I was delighted to be asked to photograph a property for Grand Designs last season in Maylandsea, Essex. I have watched this show for a very long time and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us and it was a filthy day! The rain was relentless until early evening when shooting was almost finished. The property was not quite finished especially the grounds which the rain turned into a bog! The build was an incredible achievement by the homeowner Geoff who built a flood proof home alongside the Blackwater Estuary. However despite the weather it was a great experience to work with the production crew and to meet Kevin McCloud.
An interior shoot for Sears Davies for their client in Austin Friars, London to show the office with fit out complete with furnishings for marketing.
I was asked to photograph a beautiful property in Colchester adjacent to the owners home for their listing on Airbnb. It is a self-contained Coach House conveniently located in central Colchester, hosted by husband and wife Alex and Victoria. Homely and restful, the property has been thoughtfully renovated to return it to its original purpose which was to accommodate visitors to the local area.
