I was lucky enough to take the interior photography of a stunning houseboat at Limehouse Marina in London last week. I have always wanted to see the inside of one of these and this exceeded my expectations. As you enter the boat you have a large table with seating area which is either covered or can be open when the weather is good. Steps lead down into the boat and the lounge area with comfortable seating and a wall mounted TV. There is a desk if you need to work from home and then a large kitchen which has everything you could possibly need, this is larger than some house kitchens. A hallway runs from here which leads off to the guest bedroom, bathroom equipped with stand alone bath tub and shower enclosure and then on to the master bedroom which has a dressing area and doors which open out onto a small seating area. Safe to say I could move in tomorrow!
Interior office photography in London for Sears Davies, this time at Capital Tower, Waterloo. The brief was to show the newly finished communal space and offices. There was a lot of glass separating the working offices from the communal areas, these are covered with white sheer curtains which can be pulled back to expose the area or closed off to keep it more private. The design of the communal areas included sofa areas, smaller and larger tables and chairs for informal meet ups. Centrally is the tea point with a large island housing dishwashers and fridges.

This office block has seven floors with a roof garden at the top. Two floors are fully furnished and dressed beautifully, the rest are currently CAT A apart from the roof terrace which has planters and furniture by HAY.

Just a few behind the scenes shots from the DIY SOS Harlow reveal day that I was privileged to photograph the interior for (see earlier post)
It was a privilege to be able to photograph the final project on reveal day for DIY SOS the Big Build with Eastenders for their Christmas Special.
The huge team of volunteers produced nothing short of a miracle for Butterfly Effect Wellbeing based in Harlow. Founder Angie is an incredible woman who provides a crucial life line to her community for anyone suffering with mental health problems or loneliness.
They centre now has a yoga studio, a relaxation room, crafts rooms, communal area and kitchen and pantry, outside bbq area, beautiful gardens and a green house and raised beds for some gardening. They provide takeaway meals for anyone who feels unable to cook, classes, walks and so much more. They welcome anyone through their doors who needs company, people to talk to and listen and a place to feel safe and valued.
I tried to do the build and all the volunteers hard work justice with the images, the quality of products and finish is top notch.
