It was a privilege to be able to photograph the final project on reveal day for DIY SOS the Big Build with Eastenders for their Christmas Special.
The huge team of volunteers produced nothing short of a miracle for Butterfly Effect Wellbeing based in Harlow. Founder Angie is an incredible woman who provides a crucial life line to her community for anyone suffering with mental health problems or loneliness.
They centre now has a yoga studio, a relaxation room, crafts rooms, communal area and kitchen and pantry, outside bbq area, beautiful gardens and a green house and raised beds for some gardening. They provide takeaway meals for anyone who feels unable to cook, classes, walks and so much more. They welcome anyone through their doors who needs company, people to talk to and listen and a place to feel safe and valued.
I tried to do the build and all the volunteers hard work justice with the images, the quality of products and finish is top notch.
We had great fun working on an interior and lifestyle shoot for Gemini Worktops with homeowners Matt and Loz. They invited some family and friends over and we were able to show off their kitchen as a space to entertain and relax whilst enjoying the durability and quality of the quartz worktops by Gemini.

Sometimes I get to my shoot address and I know from the minute I walk in to the house that I am going to love it. I am a sucker for Victorian architecture and original features and this London town house has it all. The kitchen is in the basement of the house and the owner has styled in beautifully, I was spoilt for choice with all the design touches and could have spent a lot longer than would have been polite in their house! It was shot for Plus Rooms kitchen and loft extensions.
October has been busy, which is always good, but this one has been a lot of fun. It started with a trip to Monaco working for Eleven Miles for a private client of their’s. Having never been to Monaco this was a new experience for me, it’s quite a unique place, almost surreal really, never seen so many super cars in one place. It was a busy couple of days but I loved it and the crew at Eleven Miles really looked after me, especially the uber expensive Aperol Spritz at the harbour! I have photographed some lovely kitchens, new office fit outs, a new showroom for Crucial Trading at the Design Centre in Chelsea and then their opening event, and finally I shot DIY SOS’s finished project and reveal day! I can’t believe this all happened in one month. A few of the images are shown here but some I cannot show just yet.
