I was looking for some photos this morning and came across these from a couple of years back. I think they are so pretty I wanted to share them again. It was absolutely freezing out and foggy and the frost was thick and literally covering everything. The lakes were partially frozen over so of course what better time to go out for a walk early morning with the dog!
I had the pleasure of photographing a really unique house recently. The outside of this house, although very nice does not prepare you for what awaits you as you enter through the front door. The huge open plan living area on split levels leads into the kitchen, a very cosy little snug area that has one side of the fire opening into it, and a lounge and dining area. The walls are adorned with some great art work and the moroccan style lighting gives a sense of calm. Through the snug area leads to a fabulous living room with dual aspect french doors which open out onto the extensive garden and open fields. The ceiling above the open plan living area is a huge atrium with a balcony that curls round leading to the bedroom on the second floor.
I loved this house, I love the way the owners have fitted it out. If I had a glass of something, some tunes on and the fire lit I wouldn’t leave. If it were mine that is!

I was very lucky to be asked to photograph another amazing office fit out the other day in London. I love going in at the end of a lot of hard work (by other people) and photographing the end result for them. It really is amazing what designers etc can do with office spaces now. This was a good one!

I was looking back over some of my old photos today. Some were taken a few years ago now but many show my love of buildings and architecture. I am very fortunate to have London only 20 minutes away and so there is an unending supply of photographic opportunities right there.
It made me want to get back up there with my camera as soon as I have the time again. Maybe I might set myself a little project like photographing London Pubs! Could be interesting, what do you think?
