Black and White

Black and White

Some interiors lend themselves to being in black and white and the house I recently shot in Hockley was one of those that looked good in both colour and black and white. Houses of Parliament. Photographed from the South Bank, London.

Just another to add to my London photos.  Taken from the south bank this one has the Houses of Parliament in the distance, the London Eye on the left and one of the old street lamps that I love lining the walkway along the Thames.

Houses of Parliament

Another photo walk in London, and this time my model was the Houses of Parliament.  Very photogenic I thought! I love the old architecture in London and could photograph it all day long!     Then a bit of walk around Chelsea and a very pretty little street with a bicycle chained up – even […]

Guild Bronze Award for St Paul’s Cathedral Photograph

I decided to enter my first image of the month competition with the black and white picture I took of St Paul’s Cathedral.  I entered it into the Guild of Photographers monthly competition with whom I am a registered member.  I got a bronze award!! Very pleased with that indeed.

Portrait Studio session with Greasy and Killer

We had a good portrait photo session the other evening which was a lot of fun! We got some good natural shots and the girls were great.  It was all very relaxed and natural, probably not text book posing but what the hell, we enjoyed it.

The Grove

Had a great weekend away with friends, the hotel and gardens are fabulous here, would love to see them in the Spring when the flowers are out!  There are amazing sculptures dotted around in the gardens.  My favourite is the robot on the water.

Sunday, and shots of Erin

I took some photos of my youngest daughter today, she is still a willing model!  Played around with black and white conversions, I think they come out okay.  Still need lots of practice.
