I love taking photos of nature and gardens, and outside. I must admit I am a bit more keen on the spring and summer when it warms up a bit, although I don’t mind getting out with my camera if its really misty, frosty or snowy because you can get some interesting shots. What do […]
I had a request to do a photo shoot for https://www.further.co.uk/ who were doing an article for Adrian Flux. The brief was to shoot Emma Balaam, head of operations for the RS Owners Club and also the owner of a beautiful classic Ford. I don’t know much about classic cars I have to admit but […]
I had the pleasure recently of doing the photography for a couple of Essex Town Guides – see links below: http://www.localauthoritypublishing.co.uk/flip_guides/leighguide3804/index.html http://www.localauthoritypublishing.co.uk/flip_guides/upminsterguide/index.html
Cute puppy alert!! Finlay came round for his puppy shoot the other day and was very excited. I had not anticipated how fast he would be moving! When you see cute puppy pictures what you don’t see is the photographer grappling round on their knees for an hour to get the shot! To be fair […]
Little photoshoot at Belhus Woods with two gorgeous children. They were so easy to photograph as they were happy to just play around and stop for a few posing shots too. Literally squeezed this in before in rained again!
Here are a few shots from Simon and Hayley’s Wedding last Monday on Southend Pier in Essex. I was so looking forward to doing this wedding as it was something so original. It was a brilliant day, so much fun getting the little train to the end of the pier with the wedding party and […]
Hanbury Manor in Hertfordshire is a beautiful venue to get married at and Fran and Scott had a fabulous day. There were seven flower girls and page boys of varying ages who did a fantastic job on the day, even walking all the way down the aisle! We managed to take advantage of a break […]
I thought I’d experiment with some light trails this evening, I picked in front of St Andrews Church in Hornchurch, Essex before it got too dark so you can still see St Andrews Church to add some background interest. They came out okay and it was quite fun to do, although I did feel a […]
Just another to add to my London photos. Taken from the south bank this one has the Houses of Parliament in the distance, the London Eye on the left and one of the old street lamps that I love lining the walkway along the Thames.
Another photo walk in London, and this time my model was the Houses of Parliament. Very photogenic I thought! I love the old architecture in London and could photograph it all day long! Then a bit of walk around Chelsea and a very pretty little street with a bicycle chained up – even […]
I decided to enter my first image of the month competition with the black and white picture I took of St Paul’s Cathedral. I entered it into the Guild of Photographers monthly competition with whom I am a registered member. I got a bronze award!! Very pleased with that indeed.
