Office Portfolio completed their latest fit out for BCS Swindon with desking, teapoints, break out areas, meeting rooms and conference room. I was asked to take interior photographs of the offices, break out areas and meeting rooms.
A visit to SW17 last week and an interior photography shoot at another beautiful London home with a kitchen extension from Plus Rooms. The large picture window adds light from the back and two long skylights bring light in from above. The bright yellow stools really pop with the charcoal grey kitchen cupboards.
Little Tey Barn is a very unique barn set in 3 acres of beautiful grounds in the heart of Essex near to Colchester and Braintree. I was lucky to be able to take the interior and exterior photographs for Jane and Andy and so I can vouch first hand at what a wonderful space it is. They offer the perfect venue for weddings, private parties, corporate events or large family gatherings. They sleep 16 and all the rooms have been decorated to the highest standard, most with en-suite bathrooms. They have a huge barn which can be hired for large events and workshops etc. Outside the grounds can easily accommodate large marquees or outside events. The newest edition is a wood fired hot tub which overlooks the gardens and the house. I want to stay here!

An important aspect of furniture design and supply and fit out is to record the process from the build phase through to installation. This is often overlooked in the day to day running of a project and before you know it the piece is built and finished without being recorded. It is well worth hiring a photographer to photograph the build and construction phase of certain projects.
When a bespoke piece of furniture has been made it is often very hard from the finished article to see the workmanship that went in to crafting the piece. If you can show the skill that went in to making it then the price that you ask for further commissions can be rightly justifiable and clear for the client to see why the cost is what it is.
I photographed the build process of a couple of bespoke pieces for OES London which they installed in to a global financial firms offices. There was a lot of design, skill and craftmanship involved in both pieces that had to be made to fit exactly as the client asked.
