Purple Light Up Day for International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Fidelity International asked me to take interior and exterior photographs of their building in Canon Street London last week to record their Purple Light Up Day. The brief was to show the light up from the inside of the building out, showing the mechanics of the actual lights and the view outside, particularly St Paul’s cathedral opposite. They also needed shots from outside showing the building at various times and different ambient lighting. Weather wise of course it was chucking it down all day! This hampered my ability to nip in and out of the building as I would have liked, but despite the rain I got some nice shots particularly later on when the rain created great reflections on the pavement. Thanks to the wonderful security man who came out with me and held my umbrella whilst I focused the tilt shift lens!
